If anything encompasses slow living perfectly, it's an English Country Show; lazy days spent wandering around, local chilled cider in one hand, a generous slice of homemade cake in the other. I find myself smiling at no-one in particular, just at the simple pleasure of life being enjoyed.
The 3rd annual Steam & Vintage Show, held in the bucolic landscapes of Marston Trussell village, has quickly become a popular event on the country life calendar. Crowded beer tents, the comforting smell of coal smoke and bbq's in the air, people, young and old gathered together to enjoy an utterly analogue day under sunlit skies.
